Chainmail Anklet Kit - Solid Copper with Unique Comfort Clasp - Slightly Beyond Beginners - Chunky Parallel Chain or Helm Weave
This listing is for all the materials you need to make a FUN and stylish anklet! I have included plenty of my expertly made16 gauge RAW SOLID COPPER jump rings in just the right quantities (plus spares of everything-so don't worry if you mess up a couple) and a unique custom hand crafted clasp that is meant specifically for ankle comfort.
This anklet is particularly appropriate for a jewelry maker who has at least a LITTLE experience in chainmaille and/or jewelry making because these 16 gauge jump rings take a little more hand strength to close properly. BUT, the weave is easy to see, it progresses quickly and the results are SPECTACULAR!
Your finished ANKLET will measure up to 13 inches and will have an additional 1 1/2 inches of adjustment, if you choose. It has a substantial feel and everyone you show, which will be everyone you know, will readily acknowledge that you have created a fabulous anklet!
My solid copper jump rings are particularly easy to work with because the ends are smooth( no burs), are consistently sized with a thin slitting saw (which only removes .008" of each ring which means the ring is essentially round) and have a good temper(there is very little spring back and little force is required to correctly close them).

I recommend a GOOD set of flat nose pliers to make this anklet. I carry a nice selection of PLIERS here in my shop: http://www.unkamensupplies.com/search?q=Pliers
