This Multi-Colored enameled coated copper wire is the same great wire we use to make our high quality jump rings and findings. The base metal is copper so this has a nice substantial weight. First the wire is silver plated and then the Multi-Coloring is applied. Finally a clear enamel coating is baked on. This wire is non-tarnishing and perfect for light to medium duty projects. Because this process requires extra steps and silver plating, silvered colors of wire are a bit more in cost. We rate the temper to be 1'4 hard.
