This traditional chainmaille pattern also known as Barrel Weave is a fun and rewarding project for new chainmaillers as well as experienced jewelry makers. I show it here in an enticing mix of silver and light green anodized aluminum jump rings but you can choose from several colors. It makes a unique bracelet that you will enjoy wearing or giving to someone who loves something out of the ordinary.

The jump rings are all non tarnishing, so this will always stay bright and shiny.

I include enough jump rings to make this bracelet up to 8 1/2 inches long, as well as a pair of earrings, and a fun keychain. This is much chunkier than my standard barrel weave kit, but very lightweight.

♥Here is what you get:
-14 gauge 10mm OD anodized aluminum jump rings
- hand wrapped aluminum clasp
-1 pair of matching earwires
-1 deluxe key ring

♥ Color choices:
Silver/Light Green

Easy to Make Lightweight Bracelet

This kit was very easy to make and it created a chunky but very lightweight bracelet, perfect for someone with a larger wrist. The kit included plenty of extra jump rings, and I was actually able to make a second bracelet for someone with a smaller wrist (with a few jump rings still left over!) I used the ear wires in a different project (as I felt these jump rings were too chunky for earrings) and I haven't found a use for the keyring (but it is a nice keyring). Overall, this is a great kit for a beginner at a really good price.
