This Artistic Wire Non Tarnish Silver Plate enameled coated copper wire is the same great wire we use to make our high quality jump rings and findings. The base metal is copper so this has a nice substantial weight. First a layer of Fine Silver is applied then a clear enamel coating is baked on. This wire is non-tarnishing and perfect for light to medium duty projects. We rate this wire to be about 1/4 hard....which means it is not dead soft, but not quite half hard in temper either.
