This silvered non tarnishing HEMATITE enameled coated copper wire is the same great wire we use to make our high quality jump rings and findings. This color is a dark gunmetal, grey-black.
The base metal is copper so it has a nice substantial weight. First the wire is silver plated. Then the lovely hematite color is applied and finally a clear enamel coating is baked on. It is non-tarnishing and perfect for light to medium duty projects. We rate this wire to be almost dead soft.
