We get asked so often what our favorite ear wires are and it is a hard question to answer as we fing it hard to choose just one. So we created this list of some of our favorites and a few of ours customers favorite for you and included some of our photos of earrings created with them.
These ear wires are hammered and vary from 22-20 gauge. The base metal is brass.and they measure 25mm X 10mm. They are available in the following finishes:Gold Plate, Silver Plate, Antique Silver, Antique Gold, Copper, Antique Copper, Gunmetal, Rose Gold, Bright Silver (closer in color to a Stainless Steel/Grey Silver), and Raw Brass.
These leverback ear wires are perfect for your earrings creations when you need a secure hold. The spring action works smoothly and they are a unique, modern design. These leverbacks measure 14mm X 13mm and are made from plated brass. They are available in Gunmetal, Copper, Silver Plate, or Gold Plate.
These colorful Niobium Ear Wires are perfect for your special earring creations! These niobium ear wires are cut and formed and then anodized so the ends have color too and the color is consistent throughout, not faded at the curves. We use 20 gauge (0.8mm) surgical grade niobium to make these ear wires and they measure 22mm x 12mm. The ends are de-burred so they are totally smooth and comfortable. Niobium is a rare inert metal so it is hypoallergenic and terrific for sensitive ears and skin! They are available in the following finishes: Natural Silver

We have these in several different metal options and sizes. The Stunning ear wires will really make your earring creation stand apart from the rest! The Surgical Steel ear wires are made from 316L surgical steel and are a little thicker than "normal" ear wires as the ends are flattened- measuring .8mm X 1mm, so just about 18 gauge. The sterling silver measure 20 gauge (0.8mm) and measure 18mm X 10mm. The bronze and copper ear wires ear wires are 20 gauge (0.8mm) thick and measure 18mm X 10mm. The hole is just slightly larger than 1mm, so it will accommodate all 20 gauge jump rings or wire. The Sterling Silver, Bronze, and Copper ear wires can all be antiqued/oxidized also.
These Peacock Rainbow Titanium Kidney Ear Wires are perfect for your special earring creations! They are made from 23 gauge wire and measure 17mm X 10mm. They are made in the usa, does not contain nickel or lead, and are surgical grade titanium.We can custom anodize 20 GREAT colors for you.
