50 Jump Rings Oxidized Antique Copper Hand Crafted for You in 16, 18, 20 Gauge

These custom handmade oxidized copper jump rings are perfect for chainmaille artisans and all jewelry artisans who are looking for something better than what is available commercially! These jump rings are a wonderful weight because they are solid raw copper! These jump rings are handmade to our exacting specifications for our personal use. They are made from raw copper wire which is Made in the USA and measured by ID (Inside Diameter). Each listing is for 50 jump rings

The patina is created by hand as well. We offer 2 general levels of oxidation; medium and dark. The MEDIUM oxidation will have varying shades of brown with possible red and gold tones. The DARK oxidation will have varying shades of dark brown, grey and black. The wire will continue to oxidize once exposed to the air and may also loose some of its dark tones as you work with it. You can choose to seal this with Renaissance Wax to hold their current tones. You can also use our Synthetic Steel Wool to give them more distinctive highlights and low lights.

They are made from high quality copper wire which is wound on a mandrel and saw cut with 0.008" rotary slitting saw blade-this means that only a very small amount of the ring is removed which gives you a nice round ring with a very smooth parallel cut. Next they are tumbled with steel shot, washed with detergent and hot water and dried at low temperature; each are hand inspected. NEXT they are custom dipped to this vintage finish! We love making jewelry, but were unable to purchase jump rings that met our standards, so we invested in the equipment and started making them ourselfs. Over 40 years engineering experience paid off! We love them! The weight is substantial and our customers love the feel when they pick up our products.
