Here is the process:
We wash out a Noosa Yogurt container and then make a tool from a scrap piece of stainless wire - 7-8 inches, 18 gauge or so works fine. Make a little loop on one end that is around 1/4 inch - pea size. This is not critical, so just around that.
Clean the items you want to patina with Dawn, rinse them well and set them aside.
Now, run hot tap water and fill up your yogurt container about 3/4 of the way and set it on the counter - you may want to put down newspaper or paper towels. We have a dedicated stainless steel work space for this purpose. Use the looping tool that you made, dip it into the bottle of gel and then swirl it into the hot water until you have a yellow toned liquid.
Drop your cleaned items into the yogurt container and check them regularly for desired tone. You can hasten the process if you run them under hot tap water first - hot water makes everything react faster.
If you have city water, you may find that the process will vary from 1 day to the next depending on how many chemicals the city has used that day. Distilled water will give you more consistent results. More concentrated solutions may cause the reaction to work too fast and then flake off. Just 1 loop of liver of sulfur per that little container, is all you need.
Rinse and allow your objects to dry. Optional, rub them with a little mineral oil. We keep an old towel scrap just for this purpose.

This product is not returnable once opened.

Materials: liver of sulphur gel, jump ring sample.
