This Creating Clasps Tutorial will instruct you on all of the steps in making your own hook clasps. The 8 pages contain clear color photos and detailed instructions on each step, along with personal tips from Ralph Helmrich, who created the designs.
The specific clasp shown in this tutorial is a 17mm X 7mm solid metal hook clasp, but the techniques taught are the same for any size hook clasp. Once this is mastered you can create your own designs.
