This raw Yellow Brass wire is great for a variety of jewelry and craft projects. This wire is solid Brass and perfect for light to heavy duty projects. You can solider this wire, hammer it, wire wrap with it, make jump rings, ear wires, knit and crochet it. It is not coated, so will develop a lovely patina or you can polish it and seal it!
Yellow Brass has a yellow tone and is an alloy of copper(67%) and zinc(33%). Because of its high zinc content, this resists tarnish better than other types of brass wire. (We also carry Rich Low Brass which has a golden tone as well as Jewelers Brass which has an even more golden tone. )Yellow brass does not contain nickel or lead and it is Made in the USA.
