These handmade ear wires are just right for your stylish handmade earring creations! They measure 1/2 inch(1.25cm) by 1 inch(2.5cm). We smooth the ends to ensure comfort and good looks. The base metal is copper that is coated in over 40 colors and then an enamel finish is applied to prevent tarnishing.
We have found them to be a perfect weight, holding their form, not bothersome to sensitive ears, and the enamel coating holds up very well. They do not contain nickel or lead. Perfect! We use them on many of our mid-priced earrings.
These are made from 20 gauge wire, the standard or "usual" size for ear wires.
