This Non Tarnishing Amethyst enameled coated copper Artistic Wire is the same great wire we use to make our high quality jump rings and findings. The base metal is copper so this has a nice substantial weight. First the wire is silver plated and then the lovely amethyst color is applied. Finally a clear enamel coating is baked on. It is non-tarnishing and perfect for light to medium duty projects. Because this process requires extra steps and silver plating, silvered colors of wire cost a bit more.
