Functional, but pretty rough. There are burrs at the back end that will need to be ground down before its used so that it does cant on fqbric (rough enough I suspect it would snag patent leather lol). The tips are pretty rough cut, and as angled as they are rounded. They're roughened on parts of the long edges, and a prominent burr on one tip will also need to be smoothed out. The nails binding the two tongs together are rough cut too, so that they look like they have an uneven number of grooved facets. It looks like it's solid copper but is so banged up maybe it's been refurbished or repurposed? Who knows. They *are* tonglike, and appear copper colored. Other than that?
