We are frequently asked about hammering and work hardening our Enameled Coated Copper Wires. THIS is what we use here in the shop.

This listing is for 2 plastic blocks that measure 4' X 6" x 1/2" each (15.5cm X 10cm X 1.2cm). These are the best! Why?

► They are made from low density plastic which will distribute the force evenly.

►They have a unique textured surface to reducing slippage.

►They are durable and will last for years and years, we have never had to replace the first set that we bought many years ago.

These are easy to use, just position your object between the 2 blocks and whack the top block with a hammer( it doesn't have to be a special hammer).

and, we have included a free sampling of wire so you can get started right away!

►This will not change a dead soft wire into a hard wire, but it will increase the temper a bit - handy to use on ear wires!
