This Non Tarnishing Brass Enameled wire is the same great wire that we use to make our high quality jump rings and findings. The base metal is brass so this has a nice substantial weight. A clear enamel coating is baked on. It is non-tarnishing and perfect for light to medium-heavy duty projects. We rate this wire to be just about half hard. We do not recommend hammering the wire, as it will damage the non tarnish coating, but this wire can be work hardened.
