This week we are featuring Jen Martinez and The Amazing Stan! They work together to create innovative chainmaille jewelry, and they certainly seem to have a lot of fun doing it!

Here they are, in their own words:

"The Steampunk Garage is a joint project between The Amazing Stan and Jenifer Martinez of J2 Shirts to merge hardware and fashion for the sake of ultimate badassery. We accent upcycled artwork with stainless steel chainmaille baubles and bits to create our unique style.

We scour the flea markets.
We live for the junk store.
We haggle with every antique dealer to find the coolest, oddest, most one-of-a-kind... uh... metal doodads that we can!

...then we jumble it all up and piece it back together to make our beautiful works of wearable art.

We give new trendy life to old forgotten junk. Bits of scrap metal and broken watches are our lifeblood.
